Founding Director, Consultant

  • Dave has extensive experience guiding teams from a broad background towards high performance. His experience spans over culture design work, leadership development programme delivery, with a particular passion for new world thinking that honours the importance of the contribution of all. Dave has additional expertise in designing and delivering experiential outdoor events. Satisfied clients include charities, SMEs, and renowned organizations such as Oxford University, WaterAid, SKY, BNP Paribas, and Barclays Bank.

    An accredited practitioner in Heartstyles, iEQ9, and LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, as well as a certified Lowland Leader, Dave brings important yet supportive challenge to all he works with.

Kate Noakes

Co-Director & Consultant

  • A vastly experienced associate-partner working exclusively with Uplift Consulting. Kate is a respectful yet determined coach, trainer and development partner to leaders, teams and individuals. She is known for her unwavering personal integrity and her persistence in securing performance through finding and working with the truth. She is also a qualified CPCAB person-centred experiential psychotherapist who gets to the heart of the matter quickly. With 30+ years supporting both private and public sector enterprises, from across many cultures and markets, the results Kate brings are surprising in both their scale and their sustainability. All that is required from you to realise such returns on your investment are to have the ambition and the courage in what is possible and the code of ethics to do it with kindness and fairness.

David Pignon

Co-Director & Consultant

  • David has experience working across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors in the UK and East Africa, working in contingency planning, managing nonprofits and delivering international consultancy services. He enjoys helping teams navigate the human side of success, turning challenges into opportunities. David previously led a consultancy firm in Ethiopia, where he worked with multinational and local clients, providing varied support in areas like team leadership, team recruitment, project development, cross-cultural communication, behaviour change and crisis management.

Becs Dhillon

Associate Consultant

  • Becs Dhillon is a qualified barrister, workplace mediator, conflict coach and leadership coach. Providing safe, confidential space to work through conflict, remove potential barriers, and improve communication. She performs a variety of mediation services around helping colleagues who have fallen out in the workplace. Becs loves helping resolve conflict and reconcile relationships to build strong teams and workplaces.

Steve Morris

  • Steve is a passionate and dedicated coach committed to high quality facilitation. This passion has seen him coach unemployed young people in South Africa, Tech start-ups in London and high-profile brands like Google, Arsenal FC, KFC and Pizza Hut. This varied experience has given Steve a curious mind and a heart to see people thrive.

Simon Thomas

Associate Consultant

  • Simon’s passion for people development comes from the satisfaction of making a difference.

    He has delivered a broad spectrum of programmes for thousands of people across Government Departments such as the Royal Air Force, HM Prison Service and the Dept of Work & Pensions, alongside work with Lexus, KFC, and the NHS.

    Simon has a CIPD Level 7 accreditation in Learning & Development, certificates in Stress Management, NLP and Coaching (CMI Level 7). He is also an accredited practitioner for both the Lumina Spark psychometric model and Heartstyles; plus he’s a qualified Hypnotherapist and Mental Health First Aider.
